Euthanasia is the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or if in an irreversible coma. It is illegal in most countries. I think that no one has the right to do this to someone or something without his or her consent. I am both condemning and defending the term because I believe that it is hard to watch someone you love and care about being tortured by some inevitable pain. My aunt died a month ago and she committed suicide. She was very depressed and drank a lot and she destroyed her gut and was emitted to the E.R. She was getting better but she was in so much pain that she knew she wouldn’t be able to get out of it. She also knew her family wouldn’t pull the plug on her yet, so she pulled it herself. She chose to kill herself because she couldn’t handle watching her family suffers from her pain. Her pain was too unbearable. In that case, I think that this term is okay. But I believe that if a doctor wants to practice this, he needs to ask for the family or the patient’s consensus. The family knows better than he or she whether they need more time, and they wouldn’t want someone they love to be put through the pain.

Romeo and juliet Reflection
I think that if they really truly did love each other, and they believe that they cant live without the other, then they have perfect reasoning to kill themselves. We don’t understand their love for each other, because we were not in their heads during the events of the play, but if what they had was all that they wanted, then they can decide for themselves. When they got married, they promised each other to spend the rest of their lives together, and they did.
Who was ultimately responsible for all of the death that occurred in the play? Why?
There isn’t one person or group of people to blame for the deaths, its simply fate. If there was need to blame something or someone, I would have to say its both of the families. If they had not been such big rivals, then Romeo and Juliet could have gotten married appropriately. Tybalt would not be dead and Juliet’s parents would not have made her marry Paris. Which is she did not have to marry Paris, she would not have to fake her own death, which led to Romeo’s death and Juliet’s true death following.
What do you think of Capulet’s orders that Juliet marry Paris? Was he correct to do so? Why or why not?
I think it was wrong for Capulet to force Juliet to marry Paris. Moreover, I think that Juliet should not have let her father control her like that. He doesn’t seem to care for what might be best for Juliet, he only cares that Paris is rich. If he thinks Juliet is old enough for marriage, then she is clearly old enough to make her own decision.

Romeo and Juliet Act 1
My thoughts on Act I are that I think this entire plot line is slightly melodramatic and unrealistic. But maybe it is realistic for that time period, but no one these days falls in love with one girl and marries her at the age of THIRTEEN. Romeo just seems to be a regular teenage boy who thinks on girls hot and falls “in love” with her, but then he sees a hotter girl and falls “head over heals” for her. Nonetheless, I feel lie Romeo needs to learn to tame his testosterone filled mind. I mean if a guy came up to me saying how my lips were a religious shrine and how he wanted to sin and kiss them, I would probably think he is on drugs or something. I think Romeo thinks he is in love with Juliet, I don’t believe in love at first sight. Because the only love you see at first sight is how the person looks. You should love someone because of who he or she is and how he or she treats you; you aren’t going to realize that at a first glance. I have done this play in a community theatre and I played Juliet. It was more of a revised version of Shakespeare’s. Aren’t all the movies and plays you see nonrealistic though? I think Shakespeare started the trend. I noticed a lot more things in this, I mean I always thought it was a bit over the edge of being over dramatic, but I never realized that one of the most romantic scenes most famous is when Romeo is telling Juliet how he wants to kiss her. Great first impression, right?
